Diabetes happen when the body does not produce or properly use insulin to regulate the amount of glucose or sugar in the blood. There are many things that are the cause of diabetes. You could end up with diabetes because an immediate family member has or had diabetes. On the other hand, it can be what you are eating that cause diabetes.

Eating sweets or the wrong kind of food does not directly cause diabetes. However, it may cause obesity and this is associated with people developing Type 2 diabetes. This is also the same for what you are dinking as well. You may be one of the ones that drink lots of soda all the time and that would be a good way to develop high or low blood sugar levels. That is because if you were to stop drinking lots of soda your body starts to show some signs of low or high blood sugar levels.

Another cause of diabetes is when you are overweight. If you are one of the ones out there that are over weight, your body is not properly disposing of the sugars that you are taking in and the ones that your body is producing all the time.

When you are diagnosed with diabetes, you are going to start asking a lot of questions as to why and how you received them. It is mainly because of your body either is not producing enough glucose or it may be not using the glucose that you are feeding into it. Either way you are going to need to make sure that you are taking care of yourself and getting, the right exercise so that your body is going to be able to use the sugar wisely and it is not staying in your blood stream all the time.
